Wenn man subt0ne technisch 7 Jahre zurückblickt ist doch schon einiges passiert in Sachen Dubstep und Ulm. Wie wir angefangen haben kamen noch so sprüche wie: "Darauf kann man doch nicht tanzen" - "Das funktioniert niemals" - ... Nun grinst man darüber denn es ist für Uns noch genauso wie früher: 
>> Wir machen das nur weil wir diese Musik lieben !! <<
Und egal ob diese Musikart in den Mainstream fällt und auch wieder kleiner wird, es geht weiter. Zum Anlass unserer Geburtstagsfeier haben wir J:KENZO aus England zu uns eingeladen. Ich kann nur sagen ich spiele seit Jahren Tunes von Ihm. Ich wüsste keine Party wo ich nicht zumindest 1 J:Kenzo Tune raushaue. Er wird am 13.09.14 ein 3 Decks Set spielen, in diesem Fall mit 3 CD Playern. Die subt0ne kru setzt euch den musikalischen Rahmen und packt auch mal wieder die alten Scheiben ein. Es werden zum Geburtstag ein Satz klassiker zu hören sein.

Hier noch ein paar Infos zu J:KENZO:

J:Kenzo is the leading member of a new wave of artists on pioneering Dubstep label Tempa, as well as the founder of the influential Artikal Music UK imprint. Since 2008 he has cemented himself knee deep in the underground music scene with his signature inimalistic sound of Dub, Jungle and Techno.
Renowned for his DJ skills which have seen him tour all over the world, from Japan to Australia, to Dubai to North America and all over Europe, J:Kenzo also hosts a monthly show on London's Rinse FM showcasing his taste in everything underground.
His self titled debut album was released in September 2012 on the Tempa label with great anticipation, some say providing the antidote to the then overly brash commercial Dubstep sound. Deep underground tones, stripped back beats, smoky atmospherics with haunting keys and melodies providing the flavour throughout.
In 2013 Kenzo compiled and mixed Volume 11 of the prestigious Dubstep Allstars collection alongside his eagerly awaited follow up the 'Bloodlines EP'.
To date J:Kenzo's output has been consistent with releases and features on classic labels such as Metalheadz, Dub Police and Exit Records as well as a string of singles and EP's for foundational Dubstep label Tempa.
