Ein Fest für alle im Epplehaus. Es ist eine Soli-Veranstaltung. Der Eintritt ist für Kinder bis 14. Jahre frei, sonst kostet er 3 Euro. Es gibt verschiedene Tanz-Workshops. Das Fest ist für alle Menschen, egal wie alt sie sind. Die Party ist für Familien, Kinder und 4ALL! Veranstaltet wird das Fest gemeinsam von Newcomer Radio, Wüste Welle, TÜnews International und dem Epple Haus.

Workshop – Traditionelle Syrische Tänze
(15:00 bis 18:00 Uhr draußen)
Dabke-Tänzer werden den Gästen fünf Arten von Dabke beibringen. Lernt die Schritte und übt sie anschließend zu traditionellen Liedern. Später auch zur Livemusik von Arabian Spirits und anderen.

Workshop – Trommeln für Kinder und Erwachsene
(16:00 bis 19:00 Uhr im Keller)
Der Schlagzeuger Norbert Schubert von der Trommelschule Tübingen bietet Afro-Cubanische Conga-Trommelworkshops an. Alle können mitmachen – egal wie alt sie sind. Es gibt 15 Trommeln pro Workshop. Das gelernte kann gleich bei einer kleinen Vorführung gezeigt werden. Wer mitmachen möchte, sollte sich vorab mit einer kurzen E-Mail an goafry@hotmail.com anmelden.

Musikvorführung – Sufi Musik
(16:00 bis 19:00 im Saal)
Der Musikethnologe Sandro Mellisano, der in den Iran gereist ist um die Sufi-Musik kennenzulernen, wird den Gästen diese Musik zeigen. Er stellt auch den Sufismus vor. Am Ende wird er für alle Sufimusik spielen.

Kurdischen Musiker - Kader Ahmad und seine Freunde werden arabische Musik für euch spielen.

Die Musikstücke beinhalten Farsi, Albanische, Kurdische und Türkische Rythmen.Kader spielt auf seiner Saaz und wird von seinen Freunden musikalisch begleitet.

Arabian Spirits
(20:00 bis 21:00 Uhr im Saal)
Mit ihrem Sänger Ammer, nehmen die Arabian Spirits alle mit auf eine musikalische Reise. Jeder kann mitmachen – vielleicht mit ein paar neu gelernten Dabke-Schritten oder nur durch Mitklatschen.

Musik von Syrern - Farhan Shero und Freunde
(22:00 bis 23:00 Uhr im Saal)
Sie vermitteln euch die die Rhythmen der populären Viertel der Kurden in Syrien.

Ritmos con Senas
(00:00 bis 01:00 Uhr im Saal)
Ein Erlebnis für Augen und Ohren – Kristobel Cristobal Araya spielt mit seiner Band Weltmusik und bietet den Gästen ein besonderes Erlebnis. Es wird viel Impovisiert. Sie spielen ohne Noten oder festgelegte Melodien und arbeiten nur mit der Kreativität der Musiker.

James SSali Junior und seine Freunde werden dann eine traditionelle Drum Session aus Uganda darbieten. Sie zeigen leidenschaftliches Trommeln, dass in einer offenen Jam Session enden wird - 4 all!

Veranstaltungen finden drußen statt, wenn die Wetterbedingungen es ermöglichen.

The program:

Workshop of Traditional Syrian Dances
(15:00 - 18:00 outside)
Dabke dancers will teach five types of Dabke, from the many kinds danced in traditional occasions in Syria. Learn the moves and then practise them on rhythms of traditional songs, and then subsequently to the tunes of live band Arabian Spirits and others.

Drum Workshops for Children (& adults)
(16:00 - 19:00 cellar)
Percussionist Nobert Schubert from the Trommelschule, Tübingen will conduct Afro-Cuban Conga drum workshops for children and adults with Congas provided for a maximum of 15 participants per workshop. The best part is that all of the participants of these workshops will actually expose their newly learnt skills in a performance as well. Sufi music presentation
(16:00 - 19:00 Saal)
Ethnomusicologist Sandro Mellisano who has travelled to Iran to study Sufi culture and music more closely will share his knowledge and introduce us to this mystical concept of Sufism. Soon after, he will also perform some classic Sufi tunes 4ALL !!!

Kurdish musicians
(21:00 - 22:00 Saal)
Kader Ahmed and friends will then interestingly play Arabic music to begin with, including Farsi, Albanian, Kurdish and Turkish rhythms; Kadar on the Saaz and his friends who we are greatful for coming and accompanying, on other instruments.

Music from Syrians
(22:00 - 23:00 Saal)
Farhan Shero and Friends will further these rhythms from the popular quarters of Kurds coming from Syria.

Arabian Spirits
(20:00 - 21:00 Saal)
Headed by versatile singer Ammer, Arabian Spirits will bring forth Arabic tunes encapsulating everyone in either, a few Dabke moves, or even simply clapping along. Arabian Spirits - one sure remedy for participation and integration.

Ritmo con Señas
(00:00 - 01:00 Saal)
This band makes up for an audio visual experience rather than just audio. Brainchild of Kristobel Cristobal Araya, these musicians play around with world music and are quite an experience. Improvisations in real tempo is the mean idea of the Band. No sheets or already made melodies are in use here, just the creativity of the musicians. And these moments at Epplehaus on September 16 !

Uganda's traditional drum session by James Ssali Junior and friends will then exhibit some passionate drumming before finally culminating in an Open Jam Session - 4ALL !

BRIEF EVENT DESCRIPTION

Dance is the human expression of natural ecstasy. It's about physical freedom that circumvents the entire universe around us. Come this September 16, we will have our chance to dance - all for a common cause of charity for the welfare and betterment of people - in this event organized by TüNews International, in collaboration with Newcomer News at Wüste Welle Radio and the Epplehaus. This event featuring traditional dances from Syria will be taught by our Syrian guests. Post this carefully crafted learning experience, these new found dance moves can then be put to use in a community dance celebration together with all who come for this event. Kurdish musicians Kader Ahmed and friends will regale everyone with Arabic music rhythms in a symbolism of brotherhood. Percussionist Nobert Schubert will conduct drum workshops for children as well as for adults, only to have each of his participants then perform together in yet another celebration. Yes, everyone is a performer. It's exactly how the TüNews team suggested - 4ALL ! Then again ethnomusicologist Sandro Mellisano will be responsible for a Sufi music performance, post a Sufi music presentation - thus showcasing this concept of mysticism and spiritual music connection. Uganda's traditional drum session by James Ssali Junior and friends will then exhibit some passionate drumming finally culminating in an Open Jam Session, showcasing drums, dance and a thousand rhythms - 4ALL !
