Beschreibung

Reading and Talk with Ethel Morgan Smith, West Virginia University, WV. By drawing the reader into
her day-to-day life, Smith has written a personal portrait of an African American woman living in a
country that professes not to be racist – although racism kept finding her. With increasing interest in
African American life outside of America, Reflections offers new insights into the history and culture of
African Americans everywhere. This book makes a place for itself in the still limited field of literature written by African Americans living and working in Europe. Ethel Morgan Smith is an Associate Professor at the West Virginia University, WV. Her work focuses on Creative Nonfiction and African American Literature. She also teaches Creative Writing.
